Overview

The Cloudflare-native edition. Run your application, database, object storage, and email on one platform.

Next.js + Cloudflare / Cloudflare-native infrastructure

One platform. A connected resource stack.

Next.js + Cloudflare is the application in apps/web-cloudflare. Its core infrastructure stays on Cloudflare: Workers for your app, D1 for data, R2 for files, and Cloudflare Email Sending for mail. No separate PostgreSQL server or S3 provider to manage.

Workers · Compute

Deploy the Next.js application to the Workers runtime.

D1 · Database

Native SQLite-based data, accessed through the DB binding.

R2 · Object storage

Store uploads and assets through the native R2_BUCKET binding.

Cloudflare · Email

Send transactional mail with Cloudflare Email Sending.

Cloudflare-native does not mean every integration is internal

Compute, database, storage, and email use Cloudflare; payment gateways and Google/GitHub login remain external integrations. D1 uses SQLite semantics and Workers has its own runtime constraints. Choose Next.js + Node if you need PostgreSQL, Docker self-hosting, or independent service choices.

Welcome to MuseMVP. You do not need to understand every package before you start building. Get a working app first, then connect only the services your product needs.

Your First Working App

Start with Quick Start. You will download the source, initialize a local database, open the app, and sign in with the included development accounts.

Connect the Services You Need

You can explore the local app with seed accounts before configuring real mail, OAuth, payments, or storage. Set up each service when you test its corresponding feature or prepare for launch.

Keep credentials in your selected app's environment files or deployment platform. Environment Variables separates first-run values from optional integrations.

Launch Your App

Follow the Cloudflare Workers deployment guide, then complete the Release Checklist. Check production mail, payment callbacks, storage, and authentication on your real domain.

Build Your Own Features

Use Project Structure to find the right files and Defining Routes to connect a feature from database to UI. AI Collaboration explains the included agent workflows.

Already have a customized project on an older version? Read Updating Your Project on a separate branch. New installations can skip that guide.

Need Help?

Include your application (web-cloudflare), the command you ran, and the full error when requesting help. Remove passwords, API keys, database URLs, and personal data first. Contact [email protected] or use the community.
