Overview
Run locally, customize the product, and deploy to your own Cloudflare account.
TanStack Start + Cloudflare + AI / All in Cloudflare, AI built in
One Worker. The whole AI product.
MuseMVP Flare is the TanStack Start application in apps/web. It runs natively on Workers, keeps data in D1, media in R2 and jobs on Queues, and ships AI studios with OpenAI text, images and speech plus a separate video provider. No adapter layer and no separate servers to run.
Workers · Compute
TanStack Start builds straight into a Worker through the Cloudflare Vite plugin.
D1 · Database
Accounts, credits and AI tasks in SQLite, through the DB binding.
R2 · Private media
Uploads and generated media, owner-only, through R2_BUCKET.
OpenAI + Workers AI · AI studios
OpenAI text, images and speech; optional Workers AI and a separate video provider.
Queues · Background jobs
AI tasks, video polling and webhooks on JOBS, with a dead-letter queue.
Cloudflare · Email
Sign-in codes and verification mail through Email Sending.
All on Cloudflare, with a few deliberate exceptions
Compute, data, files, AI tasks, queues, cron and mail run in your Cloudflare account. Payment gateways, Google / GitHub sign-in and OpenAI and other model providers stay external. If you prefer Next.js, choose Next.js + Cloudflare or Next.js + Node.
MuseMVP Flare is a standalone TanStack Start + Cloudflare AI SaaS source template. Its single apps/web application builds into a Worker through Vite and the native Cloudflare plugin, with D1, private R2, Email Sending, Workers AI and Queues, and ships image, video, voice and chat studios on top of them.
Open the live demo. Use it to inspect the interface and public journeys. Local seed credentials do not apply to that site, and the demo does not certify integrations in your own account.

Included capabilities
- Accounts: password/email verification, email OTP, Google/GitHub OAuth, two-factor authentication, sessions, API keys and admin roles.
- AI studios: image generation and editing, video, voice and streaming chat, with prompt enhancement and a private media library. Text, images and speech default to OpenAI; Workers AI is optional and video uses a separate provider.
- Workspace: overview, the four studios, library, files, billing, usage, settings and onboarding; admin views for users, orders, AI tasks, webhooks, audit, refunds and dead letters.
- Business foundations: private file ownership, a labeled credit ledger, plans and credit packs, a daily AI budget, queued tasks with leases, webhook inbox/outbox and idempotent retries.
- Interface and content: app-local shadcn/Base UI components, English/Chinese MDX, Geist/Fraunces typography, system/light/dark preferences.
- Delivery tools: local initialization, account diagnostics, deployment planning, named resources and public smoke verification.
Run before connecting services
pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
pnpm muse:init
pnpm devOpen http://localhost:3000. Follow Quick start for credentials, ports, mail verification and success checks. A first local run requires no Cloudflare API token or merchant account.
Billing starts disabled. The AI studios run in mock mode locally, so they work without keys or spend; AI_MODE=live connects real models. Production exposes no development mailbox and never seeds local admin users.
Relationship to other products
The MuseMVP Flare and All in One plans include Flare source. MuseMVP Base includes the two Next.js apps in the original musemvp repository, and UI Templates excludes the engineering foundations. Flare is independent and does not require that checkout to run.
Next.js UI templates can supply designs and content, but TanStack integration requires adapting routing, links, images and server component assumptions. Do not import OpenNext, PostgreSQL or Next.js folder conventions into Flare.
Acceptance levels
A reachable demo, passing source tests and working integrations in your account are separate results. CLI smokePassed checks public HTTP surfaces; actual email, OAuth, AI and merchant transactions require separate acceptance. See Testing, Troubleshooting and source docs/RELEASE.md.
